Historic Assynt Heritage Tail Guided Walks [Assynt] ...

Historic Assynt will offer 3 guided walks on Tuesdays 8, 15, and 22 August 2-4pm:

Kirkton Pre-clearance settlement, Bronze Age burnt mounds and other features. Meet at layby on A837 north of Inchnadamph NC 247 228

Cnoc an Each Iron Age or earlier roundhouses, pre-clearance settlement and later Shepherd’s house. Meet at Glencanisp Walkers Car Park NC 107 219

Eddrachalda Bronze Age burial cairns, later shieling huts, and early modern Tacksman’s house. Meet at Ardvreck Castle Car Park NC 243 236

Which walk will be on which day will be dependent on where deer-stalking is taking place. Final details will be posted on the Historic Assynt Facebook page. All walks are approximately 2 – 2.5 miles long and include rough, uneven, rocky and/or boggy ground with some steep sections. Please dress accordingly and bring water.
